“I am a MSc candidate in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Toronto. My research is focused on the biochemical and structural characterization of histone deacetylases for the development of anti-cancer therapeutics such as inhibitors. I joined Re:Locations to better understand the socio-political context in the Asia-Pacific by discovering research outside of the field of sciences. The editing process is an interesting one and I hope to develop my writing and editing skills in various fields outside of my own research.”
