Katherine’s primary research at the University of Toronto examines forms of medieval devotion, with reference to literatures, social hierarchies, and ecclesiastical politics of the Middle Ages. With degrees in Art History and English, she has published more widely on affect theory and psychoanalysis, on trauma studies in the field of twentieth century art, and on the female religious in modern literature. At Re:Locations, Katherine offers her research experience as well as her training as both a writing instructor and peer mentor to emerging scholars who seek to improve their writing and publish their original research for an academic readership.
