PhD Candidate, Art History
Brittany Myburgh is a PhD candidate in the Art History Department at the University of Toronto. Her research is broadly concerned with the intersections of technology, society, and modern art. Originally from Aotearoa New Zealand, Brittany researches and writes about contemporary Oceanic artistic practices. Brittany was journal manager for the inaugural publication of the Re:Locations Journal, establishing the annual symposium to further promote graduate scholarship. While now teaching and completing her dissertation, she continues to support the journal as a senior editor with a focus on art in Asia and Oceania.
